Honda Racing Corporation president Koji Watanabe has shed light on the company's motivation to stay in the game, citing the upcoming 2026 F1 regulation changes as a key factor. Watanabe believes these changes, which encourage a 50:50 output split between the internal combustion engine and the electric motor, align perfectly with Honda's future propulsion system philosophy.
