The live-action film adaptation of Mika Yamamori's manga, In the Clear Moonlit Dusk, has unveiled a new trailer and theme song. The trailer showcases the film's premise and introduces the cast, including Shunsuke Michieda and Seira Anzai in the lead roles. The theme song, titled "Moonlit", is performed by Naniwa Danshi. Kodansha USA Publishing licensed the manga, which follows Yoi Takiguchi, a girl who has been known as 'Prince' since childhood, and her relationship with Kohaku Ichimura, a fellow high school student and prince. The film, directed by Kentarō Takemura and written by Yuichi Tokunaga, is set to release in Japan on October 23. The manga has been well-received, ranking #11 on the list of manga for female readers in the 2023 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! guidebook. The anime adaptation premiered in January 2025, and Crunchyroll streamed it as it aired in Japan. The live-action film promises to bring the captivating story of Yoi and Kohaku to life on the big screen.
